How to Update Android 4.0 to 4.0 Firmware

Again, upgrade the firmware at your own risk!!!

Upgrade the current Android 4.0 to a more advanced Android 4.0 firmware. This instruction does not work with Android 2.3 to Android 4.0 upgrade.

OK, let's begin:


A. What you need:


 - a blank SD card, recommend 2GB, DO NOT recommend 4GB or 8GB.

 - the latest Android 4.0 firmware for your head unit, you can get it from the product page

 

B. Upgrade steps:


1. Download the latest Andriod 4.0 firmware for your head unit on the product page.


2. Prepare a normal blank SD card(no need to fuse it).


3. Copy the the "Winca" folder into root directory of SD card.


4. Insert the SD card into GPS card slot(NOT SD/DVD card slot).


5. Reboot the head unit and it will upgrade automatically.


6. After upgrade successfully, the system will reboot automatically. DONE!


Attention: All apps installed(include the navigation app) will be cleared after firmware upgrade, you need to reinstall them.
