Attention: If your car has the EVO system with a touchscreen. After installing the aftermarket screen, you can only operate the original BMW menu through the iDrive knob, and the new touchscreen can not operate it. However, you can operate the aftermarket Android system through both the iDrive knob and the new touchscreen. Please acknowledge this issue before placing the order.

Is this product plug-and-play? Do I need to program or code my BMW? Do I need to buy an external GPS antenna? Can I still check the car info on the OEM screen?
Answer: Yes, it is plug-and-play. It has the same plugs and harness as the original BMW system. You do not need to program your car when installing, plug-and-play. All necessary accessories are included in the package. You do not need to buy anything else to make it work. You can still check the original BMW car info as before.

How do I switch the new Android system to the original BMW EVO interface?
Answer: Please tap the “Car-info” icon on the home screen OR hold(3 seconds) the MENU button on iDrive to switch to the original EVO interface.

How do I switch the original BMW EVO interface to the new Android system?
Answer: Please tap the screen or hold(3 seconds) the MENU button on iDrive.

Why does it show "No Signal" when tapping the "Car-info" to switch back to the original BMW EVO interface?
Answer: Please check the LVDS port. Make sure you connect the LVDS plug (removed from the OEM screen) to the new screen.

Why does the original EVO interface flash or not display correctly?
Answer: Please check Settings>Factory>input password 1314>Car Display>Try all options. One of them should work.

Why is there no audio from the new Android system?
Answer: 
A. Please check the connection map and ensure you plug item 3 into the rear panel of the original head unit correctly.
B. You must also access the BMW EVO screen and select the USB audio source to get audio.

Why does the Sirius/XM radio, original car computer info, and factory camera not display? Why does the AUX-IN volume stick on zero and not adjustable?
Answer: Please check the fiber optics plug. You need to move it from the original connector to the new connector we provided.

My car has a factory backup camera; why does it not display when reversing it?
Answer: Please check the Settings/system setting/Rear camera type. Make sure the "Original camera" option is activated.

Why does the new screen not power off when I shut off the car?
Answer: Please check Settings>Factory>input password 1314>CAN Protocol>Try the below four settings. One of them should work.
