Most Mercedes-Benz/Porsche come with factory fiber optics audio system. The audio signal is not the same as aftermarket head unit. In this case, there will be no audio at all after install the aftermarket navigation head unit. And you need this product.
One end connects to the aftermarket head unit, and another end connect to the amplifier plugs in the trunk.

This product include a six meters audio/power cable and a six meters FM/AM antenna adapter cable. It allows you to bypass the factory Harman Kardon audio fiber optic system or BOSE audio fiber optic system when install the aftermarket navigation head units from www.carnaviplayer.com, it may also works with aftermarket head units from other manufacturers, please contact us if you are not sure about the fitness before place the order.

Attention:
1. There will be only four car speakers work after bypass the factory fiber optics audio system.
2. It is plug and play for Mercedes-Benz/Porsche with Harman Kardon fiber optic audio system, they have same connectors. But if your car has BOSE fiber optic audio system, then the audio connectors are not the same, you need to splice wires. Please contact us before place the order if your car has BOSE fiber optic audio system.
