LOVE the head unit! It took me about an hour and a half to install. There is a diagram on the back of the unit and if you follow that and just plug it up to the car, it works great! I got apple play as well and it works seamlessly. It will disable the volume and skip buttons there is a Wheel programming app that will help you get it back. LOVE IT!
