I installed the unit myself in about 3 hours (but I have experience installing this type equipment). Overall I am highly satisfied. There are some very minor issues with the "flow" of operation while switching between the original Mercedes screen and the new unit. I primary use Apple Car Play which I believe is the issue with the flow. I absolutely recommend this unit. If you are in the US and not far from middle Tennessee I would entertain installing this if you are uncomfortable doing it yourself. I have contacted support a few times (with previous units) and have found them both responsive and helpful.
