Allen...Thank you so very much for educating me on the different systems. Cost is not my main concern, but quality and customer service is a game changer! You have proven yourself on both ends of this! I LOVE my smartcar, and use it for around town here in Calif. It is our second car and only drive less than 5000 miles a year, and plan on keeping it for a long time. I appreciate you telling me to keep my existing unit you sold me because it is still working beatifully, except you have updated the way carplay works. And, I can't seem to find way to update the Sygic system, but I basically never use it. Alway use my iphone and carplay. The heat factor makes a lot of sense, and am glad you brought that up. I never would have thought of it. I believe you have added a heat sync to help. My main concern about system is that you may not offer the smartcar units in the future, so, wanted to make sure I had way to get new one if mine gives out. I do not know the lifespan, but Foxconn is quality house, and am sure you don't sell junk....because your unit has been as advertised...so you will ALWAYS get my business when ready to upgrade. PLEASE make a note on my file that if you discontinue the SMARTCAR system for 2016 Passion, that you let me know...or...if you have updated the system in such a way that you would recommend updating.
